By downloading or using Money Lock: Budget Daily (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Subscription Terms
Money Lock offers auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions at any time.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Current pricing is displayed in the app at the time of purchase.
App Locking Behavior
Money Lock uses Apple's FamilyControls and Screen Time frameworks to temporarily restrict access to apps on your device. By using this feature, you understand and agree that:
- Apps on your device will be temporarily locked at your scheduled check-in time until you complete a daily financial task.
- The lock relies on Apple's Screen Time API, which may behave differently across iOS versions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted functionality.
- App locking is applied based on your selected preferences during setup. You can modify these settings at any time within the app.
Emergency Bypass
You are always in control of your device. Money Lock includes an emergency bypass feature that allows you to unlock your phone at any time, without completing the daily task. This ensures you can always access your phone in urgent situations.
No Financial Guarantees
Money Lock is a habit-building tool designed to encourage daily engagement with your personal finances. We do not provide financial advice, and we make no guarantees regarding financial outcomes, savings, spending reduction, or any other financial results from using the app.
Your Data
All financial data you enter into the app is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your data. If you delete the app, your data will be permanently deleted. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Money Lock, Intertwine HQ, and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to financial losses, missed notifications, or inability to access your device.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
